PIETRO COSTA was born on June 30, 1981, in Brasília, Federal District. Writer. Poet. Cultural activist. Former president of the Cruzeirense Academy of Letters. Member of the Arcádias organization in Brazil and abroad. Dr. h.c. of several universities. He has signed ten original books and is a co-author of over 300 collections/anthologies. Mentor and organizer of prestigious poetry competitions, whose anthologies present the selected texts. Guest of honor at the Lisbon Book Fair 2024. Winner of the Clarice Lispector Literary Award 2024, ZL Books, in the “best poetry book” category, with the original work SolRidente (Smiling Sun), published by Literarte. Numerous honors, prizes and titles.
