The National Museum of Romanian Literature (MNLR) has become an active and important presence in the Bucharest cultural landscape, initiating and consecrating a series of events of great diversity (from academic symposia to poetry and jazz marathons), which propose and explores new forms of literary existence, as close as possible to the sensibilities of the current public. And the Bucharest International Poetry Festival, now in its 13th edition, is part of this broad project of reinvention and “staging” of literature as a show, as an experience, as an expression of vitality.
