DAN SOCIU was born in 1978 in Botoșani, he has published 20 or 21 books, depending on how they are counted, he has translated about 30 novels, volumes of poetry, non-fiction works plus plays and thousands of online scientific articles, he has won all Romanian literary awards, some of them twice, as well as literary residencies in Germany and the USA. He has been a vagabond, bartender, book editor, journalist, environmentalist, member of the Bolintin band, he acted in the British film Universe 25, selected at the Slamdance Los Angeles festival, and wrote the screenplay for the film Monarch, which is in pre-production. Now he is a cryptocurrency trader.
