Alexandra Nicod (Switzerland/Spain)

ALEXANDRA NICOD is a Swiss-Spanish poet, playwright and actress who was born in Switzerland and lives in Madrid/Spain. She holds two Bachelor degrees, one in Translation and another one in Dramatic Art. She has published several collections of poems and is the author of various theater plays performed in theaters in Spain. As a poet she has participated in international poetry festivals all over the world and her poems have been translated in over ten languages and published in many international poetry anthologies. She has won the International Best Poet Prize 2024 awarded in China by the International Poetry Translation and Research Centre, the Journal of Rendition of International Poetry and the Board of Directors of World Union of Poetry Magazines. She is member of the Spanish General Society of Authors and Publishers, the Spanish Collegiate Association of Writers and the Spanish Actors Union.
