Angela Baciu (Romania)

ANGELA BACIU was born on March 14, 1970, in Brăila, Romania. She is a poet, prose writer, publicist, and trainer. A member of the Romanian Writers’ Union, Iași Branch. A member of the Romanian PEN Club. She made her literary debut in 1987 and her editorial debut in 1994. She has published over 25 books.

She participated in the “Promoting Romanian Literature in the European Space” Tour with readings in Hungary and Slovakia, in numerous editions of the International Festival “Poetry in Iași,” and in the Poetry Tournament on Mount Athos, Greece (2022). From October 31, 2013 to June 1, 2015, she led the Galați-Tecuci Representation of the Romanian Writers’ Union, Iași Branch. Since 2010, she has been actively involved in numerous humanitarian and social campaigns for children, the elderly, and people with disabilities.
