AXIA MARINESCU (Romania – France)
AXIA MARINESCU, described by Radio Classique (Paris) as “a charismatic pianist with a diverse and colorful touch,” is a Romanian-French artist and laureate of several national and international competitions.
She made her orchestral debut at the age of 11, performing with the Romanian National Radio Orchestra on the stage of the Romanian Athenaeum. She studied at the Lausanne Conservatory, the École Normale de Musique de Paris, and the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
Axia Marinescu has been invited to perform at prestigious piano festivals and has given recitals and orchestral concerts across Europe, Asia, and America. Most recently, she released the album Les femmes dansent in Paris — a recording that reached the global Top 10 classical music charts on major streaming platforms and was featured in a report on French national television.
In addition to her solo career, she is also active in chamber music, having performed with renowned artists such as Leontina Văduva, Viorica Cortez, and the Enesco Quartet, among others.
Beyond her musical endeavors, Axia Marinescu holds a degree in philosophy from the University of Paris and has published essays and scholarly articles in multiple countries. She is also a TED speaker.
