Teodor Dună (Romania)
TEODOR DUNĂ (born in 1981) graduated from the Faculty of Letters at the University of Bucharest. He has published the following poetry volumes: The Train of Thirty-One February (trenul de treieșunu februarie, Vinea Publishing House, 2002 – winner of the National “Mihai Eminescu” Prize, Opera Prima, Botoșani); The Catafazis (catafazii, Vinea, 2005); Playing Alive (de-a viul, Cartea Românească, 2010); Human Objects (obiecte umane, Cartea Românească, 2015 – awarded Poetry Book of the Year at the 2015 Gala of Young Writers); Kirilă (Tracus Arte, 2017 – winner of the “Matei Brâncoveanu” Prize for Literature); and Babel’s Barrel Organ (flașneta babel, Nemira, 2022 – awarded the Ateneu Magazine Prize and the ARCCA Prize).
In 2019, his anthology Wonderful World (minunata lume) was published by Cartier Publishing House. Selections from his poems have been translated into English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Hungarian.
