MIRCEA RUSU (Romania)

After graduating from the music high school, MIRCEA RUSU became known to the public throughout the country as a folk music soloist, at the Cenaclul Flacăra and the Serbările Scânteii Tineretului. He appeared in concerts with the most important groups of the time, Roșu și Negru, Sfinx, Iris, Holograf, and after the Revolution, between 1990-1995, he had extraordinary success with the band Compact, as a vocalist, composer and lyricist. In 1995, the artist decided to return to a solo career.
