Yekta (France)

Yekta (B. 1979, La Vallée aux Loups, near Paris) is a French poet, performer and musician. He has been published in many poetry reviews, in several anthologies; he has released four poetry books (Sous la surface du présent, Unicité, 2024) and three books in collaboration with visual artists. He participated in numerous international festivals around the world and he is used to perform poetical actions and rituals on stage. Yekta sets up many projects linking poetry to music; he is also a singer and musician and has been involved in several projects and bands. He was the voice of the experimental rock band Haxovox.
