Christos KOUKIS (Greece)

Christos KOUKIS is a poet, translator, and editor. He has published seven poetry books in Greece, India, Honduras, Serbia, and France. Over the past ten years, he has participated in numerous international poetry festivals across Europe, America, and Asia. His poems have been translated into fifteen languages and featured in various anthologies.

Since 2019, he has been organizing and directing international poetry festivals both in Greece and abroad, while also visiting schools and prisons to promote poetry and literature. Between 2012 and 2016, he filmed portraits of more than thirty renowned Greek poets, which were published by the Hellenic Authors’ Society.

In 2017, he participated as a poet and copywriter in Documenta 14. He lives and works in Athens.
