Cristina Dicusar (Republic of Moldova)
CRISTINA DICUSAR was born in 1993 in Chișinău, Republic of Moldova. She studied Romanian and English language and literature at the University of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, where she also completed a master’s degree in linguistics. She is a research fellow at the Institute of Romanian Philology “Bogdan Petriceicu-Hasdeu” at the State University of Moldova, in the department of contemporary Romanian literature. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the same university, with a thesis on expressions of authenticity in post-1980 Romanian poetry. Cristina has taken part in creative writing workshops, reading groups, and public poetry readings in Chișinău, Iași, Bucharest, Cluj, Pitești, Prague, and Warsaw. She has been publishing poetry since 2012 in various journals and anthologies, the most recent being the bilingual volume Distance creates comfort and love, published in Warsaw.
