Christian Sinicco (Italy)

CHRISTIAN SINICCO (1975) was born in Trieste. He has published Passando per New York (Lietocolle, 2005), Mare del Poema (2013), Città esplosa (Galerie Bordas, 2017), Alter (Vydia Editore, 2019), and Ballate di Lagosta (Donzelli Editore, 2022), which was a finalist for the Premio Strega and received the Premio Leonardo Lucchi Versante Ripido (with Gabriele Nugara), Premio Poesia Onesta, and Premio Prato Poesia. His poems have been included in numerous anthologies and literary magazines in Italy.

He has been invited to various literary festivals and book fairs and has worked as an editor for prominent literary magazines, including Argo, AbsolutePoetry, Fucine Mute, and Poesiadelnostrotempo.it. In Italy, he serves as the artistic director of the Premio Rainer Maria Rilke in Duino. He is also the president of the Poiein Association and editor of poetipost68.it.
