Ciprian Măceșaru (Romania)

CIPRIAN MĂCEȘARU (b. 7.09.1976) — writer, photographer, and musician. His work has appeared in anthologies both in Romania and abroad.

Based on his lyrics, Irish composer Gráinne Mulvey created the piece Don’t Walk, which premiered in Dublin on December 5, 2013, at The LAB cultural center. He wrote the libretto for the chamber opera În trup / In the Body, music by Diana Rotaru, the winning work of the UCIMR CAMERA Project (2017). As a photographer, he has held several exhibitions and illustrated multiple books. He is also a drummer and composer in the bands Toulouse Lautrec, Hotel Fetish, and Wet Pocket.
