ALEXANDRU OLTEANU a studiat 12 ani pianul clasic, dorindu-și să devină pianist concertist. Descoperirea pasiunii pentru muzica improvizată l-a direcționat inevitabil spre jazz. În 2012 a obținut Premiul pentru cel mai bun pianist la Festivalul Studențesc de Jazz de la Târgu Mureș, iar un an mai târziu, Marele Premiu la Festivalul de Jazz de la Sibiu, cu trioul Blue Train. Este cunoscut și ca fost pianist al trupei bossa/jazz Breeze. Talentul înnăscut pentru pian și modul în care simte muzica pe care o interpretează îl fac să exceleze. A adunat mii de ore de studiu, ceea ce i-a permis să acceseze dimensiunile subtile și profunde ale muzicii, libertatea improvizației.

Alexandru Olteanu, after 12 years of studying classical piano, wanted to become a concert pianist, but discovered his passion for improvised music, which inevitably led him to jazz. In 2012, he won the prize for the best pianist at the Târgu Mureș Student Jazz Festival, and a year later, the Grand Prize at the Sibiu Jazz Festival, with the Blue Train trio. Alexandru Olteanu is also known as the former pianist of the bossa / jazz band, Breeze, whose innate talent for the piano and the way he feels the music he performs makes him excel. He accumulated thousands of hours of study and this allowed him to access the subtle and deep parts of music, the freedom of improvisation.
