VITALIE COLȚ

VITALIE COLȚ (b. 1972, in Mălăiești, Grigoriopol District, left bank of the Dniester River). He did middle school in the village and graduated from the College of Medicine in the city of Tighina. He completed his mandatory military service in Tiraspol (1992-1993). Vitalie Colț moved to Chișinău in 1995, where he played bass and cowrote songs with the band Snails. He has played music with various artists and musicians, currently a member of the group Via Dacă and has a suite of his own songs. In 2019, he published the volume of poetry Pacea din Transnistria [Peace in Transnistria] at Casa de Pariuri Literare Publishing House. Two years later, the volume of prose Armata nu se implică în conflict [The Army Does Not Get Involved in the Conflict] came out.
