VIORICA RĂDUȚĂ
VIORICA RĂDUȚĂ was born on November 6, 1951 in Valea Salciei, Buzău County. She attended primary school in the community. She attended the general school and high school at Alexandru Vlahuţă High School in Râmnicu Sărat. She graduated the Faculty of Philology, Romanian-French section in 1976 at the University of Bucharest. She was a French teacher in the commune of Gugesti until 1980, then she works at the Scăeni Cardboard and Confections Factory as an inspector with educational problems. In 1990, she passes an exam in education and she was a tenured professor of Romanian Language at ”Al. Ioan Cuza” National College, Ploiești.
Viorica Răduţă made her debut with poems in SLAST, 1987, accompanied by the presentation of Mihai Coman. She makes her editorial debut with the volume of lyrics passion after me, followed by lack of psalms in 2000, withthe preface by Cornel Ungureanu, then The 13th Job(2003), when the memories of subtle bodies (2007), life of dry water (2008), we all die anyway (Limes, 2010) and Mother asks if I stay until evening (Limes, 2013). When they go into oblivion, the preface by Gheorghe Grigurcu (Pleiade, 2015), the burn followsthe body, Next Page Publishing House (2018), A hundred and one poems (Romanian Academy Publishing House, 2019), book accompanied by critical references, You have death on your face (Betting Literary House Publishing House, 2021), how the bride’s dress freezes, Charmides Publishing House, 2024.
In 2002 she publishes her essays on Romanian authors and on the writer’s condition in contemporaneity, the Grail without Grail, followed byInterpolations and interpolations, presentation Cornel Ungureanu (Book of Science House, 2007), where the comparative criticism of the interference of film-literature continues.
After the proseBefore the exodus (1998) andHerods (2001), the author publishes the testimonialnovel Hidrapulper (2007) to the European idea, exactly at the hottest moment of the disclosure of foundries (present in the book with “authentic” complaints). In the exodusreleases at the Romanian Book, presentation Irina Petras, 2008, then Mamamea Dead (2008), the Book of Science House. The novelIn two worlds (Romanian Book, 2013) reaches the core of inspiration, about a high school in Ploiesti, “subversive literature”. In 2015 she publishes the novel the Moroiu Times, presentation by Sanda Cordos, in 2017 the closed City (Polirom), with a comment made by Stefan Borbely, in 2021A calcan* on Lipscani (Literary Betting House), presentation by Christian Crăciun. She collaborated with the short prose the Statue of Liberty and the nails of Muruzoei on the volume the Book of cities (Humanitas, 2022), coordinated by Andreea Răsuceanu.
She has published microessays in the collective volumes: The Acts of criticism colloquia , (M. L. R. Publishing House, 2016), how beautiful a nasty city can be (Association for Education and Urban Development Publishing House, 2016) and Prof. of Romanian, a different anthology of texts (Literary Betting House, 2018).
She also published poetry, prose, essay, literary reviews in various literary magazines in the country.
