SORIN DESPOT

SORIN DESPOT (b. 1985) is a Romanian writer, public speaker and MarCom consultant. His poetry volume apasă [press here] (Cartea Românească Publishing House, 2010) received the Literary Debut Prize of the Romanian Writers’ Union. His second poetry volume, termeni | condiții [terms | conditions], was published in 2016 by Max Blecher Publishing House. His most recent poetry book, the mandela effect | or privacy policies is scheduled for publication in 2024. For more than a decade, Sorin Despot has been coordinating the annual young writers’ camp in Săvârșin and has hosted many creative writing and spoken word workshops. Sorin lives in Bucharest, where he moderates and contributes as a speaker in various cultural and business events.
