ROMINA HAMZEU
ROMINA HAMZEU (b. 1995) graduated from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences at the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University in Iași, then followed a Master’s degree in Sociology at the University of Bucharest, with a dissertation about the Legalization of Cannabis Consumption in Romania, and since 2019 she lives in London, where she works for the Delfont Mackintosh Company Theatre and follows a course in Human Resources at the University of West London.
She published poems on various literary platforms, such as O mie de semne, Revista de Povestiri, Planeta Babel, Revista Literadura, Noise Poetry, Revista Familia, Revista Matca, short stories in Revista Golan and articles for Dilema Veche. She participated with public readings at the Junimea workshops organized by MNLR Iași, as well as at the International Literature and Translation Festival Iași (FILIT). She has contributions in the following poetry anthologies: Ce-ți spui noaptea înainte de culcare [What Do You Say to Yourself at Night before Sleep] (Cartex Publishing House, 2024) and Mornin’Poets Anthology (II) – Aripile cenușii ale păsărilor pe liniile de înaltă tensiune [The Gray Wings of the Birds on High Voltage Cables] (Brumar Publishing House, 2024).
