RADU NIȚESCU

RADU NIȚESCU (b. 1992, in Bucharest) published three poetry books: gringo (printed by Casa de Pariuri Literare in 2012), Dialectica urșilor [The Dialectics of Bears] (Max Blecher Publishing House, 2016), Satao (Max Blecher Publishing House, 2020). He published poems and translations in various magazines and anthologies and had readings at many literature festivals in Romania and also in Berlin, Sofia and Istanbul. In 2016 he received the “Nepotu’ lui Thoreau” prize for Romanian poetry for Dialectica urșilor [The Dialectics of Bears] and in 2020, the “Young Writer of the Year” award for Satao. Within some projects such as Swords, Cenaclub or Strada fără nume, he has collaborated with musicians and different artists, combining poetry with music and others.
