NADIA TROHIN

NADIA TROHIN (b. Chisinau) studied at the National University of Music in Bucharest and was the soloist of the Millenium band and a member of the Jazzapella vocal group. She is also known as “The Hermit Girl”, due to the success of the song of the same name, which she performed as the lead singer of the band Millenium. In 2010, she was awarded at the Tg Jazz Festival. Mureş and, in the same year, he started collaborating with the pianist Mircea Tiberian, in 2011 recording together the album La margine de Bucharest at the Soft Records label.

He collaborated with important names of jazz in the country and abroad and participated in high-profile festivals. He completed his bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate studies at the National University of Music in Bucharest. He performed numerous concerts in the country and abroad, collaborating with famous musicians of the jazz scene, including: John Betsch, Chris Dahlgren, Christian Lillinger, Maurice de Martin, Nicolas Simion, Cristian Soleanu, Sorin Romanescu and others. In parallel with the concert activity, he is actively involved in the educational field, being a university assistant at the National University of Music in Bucharest and a vocal trainer at the National University of Theater and Cinematography “I.L. Caragiale”.
