MILOŠ JANKOVIĆ

Miloš Janković – Serbian poet, prose writer, novelist, essayist, anthology compiler and co-author of numerous literary creations, editor and editor-in-chief in several publishing companies – he was born in 1963 in Belgrade, where he still lives and works. 

In addition to his author’s literary work, which consists of over 90 published books of various genres, during his decades-long career (he published his first book, a book of poetry, in 1985) he was the initiator, participant and coordinator of many artistic and cultural projects in the field of Serbian culture – which contributed to him being awarded in 2020 the greatest award in the culture domain in the Republic of Serbia – Vuk award, for his continuous contribution to Serbian culture. He is also winner of many other, important literary awards and recognitions for his creative work and achievements in the field of culture. 

He spent more than a decade of his working life as an independent artist, in the status of a writer, and since December 2018, he holds the position of deputy president of the Association of Writers of Serbia, the oldest artistic association in Serbia.
