MIHAI IVAȘCU

Mihai Ivașcu (1997, Bucharest) graduated with a degree in Advertising (SNSPA) and a master’s degree in Cultural Studies, specializing in Society, Multimedia, Spectacle (Center of Excellence in Image Study). In high school he was deputy editor-in-chief of Art Out magazine, and as a student he worked as a reporter and voice for Radio Romania Cultural.

His works were published in Liternet, Dilema Veche, cv30, Dissolved Magazine, SUB25, a1.ro, Noise Poetry, Opt motive etc. He debuted with the volume of poetry pe cer jetoane (CDPL 2019) and wrote in the anthologies Izolare forțată (CDPL 2020), Despre debut. Istorii personale (CDPL 2021), Fenomenul Green Hours (CDPL 2021).

He participated in literary residencies (Ipotești Memorial, Young Writers’ Colloquia, Petre Stoica Creative Camp) and in cultural projects (Apropo de literatura română contemporană 2019, Writers Happy Hour 2021, ConnectArts-Note 2021, Ore albastre 2022). Founder of mezanin.ro and cultural freelancer, he is working on a new volume of poetry and some plays.
