FLAVIU GEORGE PREDESCU
FLAVIU GEORGE PREDESCU (b. 1981, Cugir, Alba county) is a poet, essayist and novelist. He has been a member of the Writersʼ Union of Romania since 2012 and he is an editor at Luceafărul de dimineață magazine and the DC News online newspaper. His published poetry books: Răsfoindu-mi adolescența (Flipping through my Adolescence), 2005; Despre cer iubire și rouă (About the Sky, Love and Dew), 2006; Aurul n-are trecere-n rai (The gold won’t pass in the Heaven), 2009; Moartea prematură a unei veri (The Premature Death of a Summer), 2010; Sisifica resemnare (The Sisific Reassignment), 2011; Secretul secretelor (The Secret of all Secrets), 2013; Obsesia gesturilor (The Obsession with Gestures), 2014; essays: Chezășie pentru libertate (Earnest for Freedom), 2012; Poetul merge mai departe – eseuri despre iubire (The poet goes on – Essays on Love), 2013; novels: Softul GE (The Soft GE), 2016; Perechea dragoste, perechea moarte (Pair Love, Pair Death), 2018. He is a correspondent at România literară magazine și Literatura de azi magazine and the winner of various awards granted by the Writersʼ Union of Romania and the magazines Acasă and Discobolul. In 2017 he received the “Călătorul” Award for Debut Novel and was the ex aequo winner of the Novel of the Year Award 2017–2018 with the book Perechea dragoste, perechea moarte (Pair Love, Pair Death) granted by the Writersʼ Union of Romania.
