EVELIO MIÑANO MARTÍNEZ
EVELIO MIÑANO MARTÍNEZ is a French Literature professor at the University of Valencia (Spain). He has maintained close contact with poetry over the years through teaching, research and translation of French poetic texts into Spanish: Fiebre y curación del icono by Salah Stétié (Visor, 2000), El tragador de fuego y Bendita sea la serpiente by Anise Koltz (La Garúa, 2008), Cien baladas de amante y dama by Christine de Pisan (La Lucerna, 2011), Mi tierra es un fondo de océano by Serge Lamothe (La Lucerna, 2023), etc. He has co-translated, with Angelica Lambru, En la mesa con Marx by Matei Visniec (La Garúa, 2017). He is the author of two books of poems: Umbral dividido (Víctor Orenga, 1987) and Madera y cuerda (NPQ, 2024), as well as he has collaborated in literary magazines.
