He returned to the news in 2008 with the volume Salutator universal (ed. Limes, Cluj). In 2010, Poeme din altă carte was published by Brumar Publishing House, Timișoara, a volume unpublished due to an authorial whim: “I set my bar too high and, as I couldn’t jump over it, I refused to go under it.”
Fascinated by the painter’s personality, Aurel Popp wrote the monograph-album Aurel Popp, between two cultures, RAO, 2017. He also published Măcelăria și alte poeme, Ed. Tracus Arte, Bucharest, 2019.
