Domnica Drumea was born in 1979, Râmnicu-Vâlcea. She is a poet and translator. She is a former member of the first significant post-2000 poetry movement in Romania, Fracturi. Her first collection of poetry, Crize (Crises) was published in 2004, at Vinea Publishing House, and received the Debut Award of the Romanian Writers’ Association of Bucharest. Her second collection of poetry, Not for Sale, was published in 2009 at Cartea Românească Publishing House. Vocea (The Voice), her third collection of poetry, was published in 2014 at Charmides Publishing House. Her poems were translated into English, French, Swedish, Czech, Slovene.
