
DANIELA ŞONTICĂ
Daniela Șontică (b. 1970, Vintilă-Vodă, Buzau county) is a poet, journalist, publisher; member of the Romanian Writers’ Union, Brașov Branch, as of 2017. Graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy and Journalism of the „Spiru Haret” University, Bucharest. Graduate of the Painting-Graphics Class of the Popular Art College of Buzau, as well as of the Artistic Secretary Editors’ College (Athenaeum Foundation Bucharest, 1992, prof. Cornel Tabacu, 1992). She made her debut in the “Convorbiri literare” (Literary Conversations) Magazine in November 1989. She published verse and prose pieces in most of the literary magazines in the country. Currently, she is an editor of the Lumina journal and works at Radio Trinitas. Between 2003 and 2010, she was an editor of Jurnalul Național/The National Journal. She initiated and currently coordinates the monthly supplement „The Literary and Artistic Light” of the Lumina journal.
