
ANTONIA MIHĂILESCU
ANTONIA MIHĂILESCU (b. 1999, in Suceava) is a poet. She studied Directing at the Iași “George Enescu” National University of Art with Octavian Jighirgiu and is currently doing a master’s at the same university in Artistic Management and Entrepreneurship. Mihăilescu is a member of the Light of Ink Poetry House and organizer of the online Poetry Marathon, of the “Ștefan Aug. Doinaș” Days and Nights Literature Festival and of the “Brumaru” reading club. She assisted in the directing of the performance Three Sad Plays at the Iași “Vasile Alecsandri” National Theatre, directed by Radu Afrim, in the A Seagull theatrical laboratory, directed by Bogdan Lucian Guțu, in the show The Asylum, directed by Alice Veliche, Suceava “Matei Vișniec” Municipal Theatre and “Occident Express,” directed by Alain Timar, Suceava “Matei Vișniec” Municipal Theatre. Antonia Mihăilescu published the volume note din secolul kitsch [notes from the kitsch century], Tracus Arte, 2020, which was nominated for the Opus Primum prize at the Mihai Eminescu National Poetry Prize, won the Ziarul de Iași Prize and first prize in the Book Published section at “Porni Luceafărul…”
