ANA SĂCRIERU (ROMANIA)

ANA SĂCRIERU is a member of the Writers’ Union of Romania. She authored several poetry collections, including Trilogy of Time – awarded the “Clara Mărgineanu” Prize by the Writers’ Union of Romania in 2024 –, The Theotokos and the Soul, and The Summer of Our Immortality. All these books were translated into English by Vasile and Anamaria Poenaru in the Romanian Poetry Around the World series. In France was published „La Vierge et l’Âme” (Éditions de la Mer Brillante, 2026).

She co-authored collective works such as the Dictionary of Vrancea Academicians, the Yearbook of the Prahova Society of General Anthropology, and the Romanian-Australian bilingual anthologies Dancing Dragons and Dialogues.

Her poetry received wide critical acclaim in prestigious literary journals under the aegis of the Writers’ Union of Romania (Convorbiri literare, Litere, Luceafărul de dimineață), with reviews signed by critics including Ioan Holban, Ana Dobre, and Christian Crăciun.
