A.T. BRANCA (Romania)

A.T. BRANCA is an economist, poet, and essayist, and a member of the Romanian Writers’ Union, Bucharest Branch. She made her literary debut in 2007 with the novel There Is Still One Day Until Tomorrow, followed by Darkness. Without Purpose, and the poetry collections Nothing Essential, Tandem with the Shadows, Live Camera. Conceptual, and, in 2026, Epic Game – Born Before Its Time.

Literary critics have noted in her poetry a tension between abstract analytical thought and controlled confession, between aphoristic expression and expressive restraint (Al. Cistelecan); a coherent reflective trajectory (V. Baghiu); a balance between conceptual rigor and authentic emotion (Christian Crăciun); and the use of visual and cinematic perspectives that lend her work expressive force and dramatic tension (Viorel Mureșan).

She has published literary essays and book reviews in the journals, Oltart, Hyperion and Luceafărul de dimineață.
